New Dirty Tricks in Texas

March 5, 2008 / by myshelties3

Yesterday in the precinct that I worked at as a Democratic Election Judge I saw at least 20 died in the wool Republicans come, I might say with ashen faces, to our side of the polling place to vote for Hillary Clinton. That was out of 54 votes cast for Clinton against the 47 cast for Obama.

All of them plan to vote for McCain in November. The Republican Judge, who knew or was related to many of them, said that the plan is to keep the Democratic Party split and fighting while McCain gains momentum and campaign donations for November.

These people don't even pretend that Hillary Clinton would be a better president nor do they want real change. They simply want to make sure that the status quo is kept. I suspect too that there is a lot  of racism and sexism in what they did.

On the other hand in what has become notoriously known as the Texas 2-step the caucus in our precinct went 2:1 for Obama. We had more Democratic voters yesterday than I have seen since I became an Alternate Judge in 2006. That was an astounding and wonderful thing to behold and hopefully Obama's "loss" won't stop that.

Boo hoo hoo - all of this was fine and dandy when it was the Dem-Libs who were doing the republican voting to get us John McCain !!!!

You have proof or personal experience I presume. Since I have not met any Democrat or liberal who would vote for McCain I am interested in your sources.

Of course it always helps to project ones failings onto others so that they don't seem so venal and self-serving. You wouldn't do that now would you?

Guess their guy can't stand up against a viable candidate like Obama. So then what exactly are they voting for? I guess anything with a an "R" on it, except something that strengthens the flag and constitution. Real Americans, huh? Sounds like bitter, poetty people to me.
